Description

Hello, and welcome — my name is Dr Faiza, and I talk with children and grown-ups about big feelings, the kind that can make it hard to go to school. This story is for you, and for any grown-up reading with you too. There are no wrong feelings in it, only real ones. It’s an honest look at what’s going on inside two friends who are both doing their best, even on the hard days — Sania and Rida. You’ll probably recognise parts of both of them. That’s the point.

Sania Sorts Her Squeezy Feeling was written by Dr Faiza Khan who is a GP specialising in mental health and the founder of Thoughtspool Therapy. A mum of three, she has spent years listening to families navigate the everyday worries that grow up alongside little people, and writes warm, practical stories to help.
